Erik LaChance

I got my start in the insurance industry in August of 2020 with Erik LaChance State Farm Insurance. My current office position is Agency Manager, with licenses in Accident, Property and Casualty, and Life and Health insurance. I am a lifelong Colonie resident and love serving our community. I transitioned into the insurance industry at the end of 2020 when I joined Erik’s team at the LaChance Agency. I have 18+ years of customer service experience in many fields which gives me a unique ability to connect with a variety of people. My current role is Team Lead, currently licensed in Property and Casualty, with a concentration in the claims process. My goal is to provide our customers with a positive experience within my ability. I am a native New Yorker, growing up in Colombia County. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, listening to my favorite podcasts and spending time outdoors.

I came to the LaChance Agency with a prior history of working in the financial service industry. I am currently licensed in Accident, Property and Casualty, and Life and Health insurance. Before learning of my love for helping others understand how to protect themselves with the right insurance options, I owned my own pizzeria/deli. Owning a restaurant fueled a huge part of my desire to build relationships and serve the community. I am recently engaged to my fiancé, Holly and we are buying a home together. We have 3 dogs and my passions are football, taking care of my pets and helping people. I am so thankful to have met Erik and the LaChance family. The amount of care Erik shows for his customers and community is truly inspiring. I started with Erik at LaChance Agency in early 2024 after spending the majority of my career in retail. I have loved getting the chance to educate customers about their needs for insurance and to help them reach their financial goals. I have obtained my licenses in Accident, Property and Casualty, and Life and Health insurance. Born and raise in Amsterdam NY, I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2016, played soccer throughout high school and college by played on the Plattsburgh soccer team. It was through playing soccer at Plattsburgh that I met my now wife, Cassidy. We moved out to Boston for a few years but ultimately decided to come back closer to our family and the community we both love. When not working, you can catch me skiing, snowboarding, playing golf, and traveling.

I knew of Erik and his office when I was working as a Loan Officer. Erik was my top insurance referral due to the nature of how well he and his team treated anyone I referred to him. That made it easy to decide to work with him, and thus I started my insurance journey in 2022. I am licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance, even though I am responsible for the marketing of the company. I love that we are all licensed in our office so that we have knowledge and credibility to better serve the community. It is so awesome to be able to teach others about the LaChance Agency Team, knowing how passionate each person in our office is to provide service and understanding to our customers.

I started my journey in the insurance world and with LaChance Agency in 2021. I have learned so much and realize how intricate the insurance world is. I enjoy speaking with our customers and making connections outside of insurance, as well as finding ways to better serve the people I come in contact with on a daily basis.

I am married with 3 children: two are United State Airmen and one is married to a United States Marine. We are bursting with pride!!

I love my dogs and kitty and they are by my side wherever I go. When not working you can find me working around our property, gardening, landscaping, just being outside!!

My name is Ian Pacifico, I am a junior at the University of Tampa and have plans to go to grad school and get my master's in marketing. I graduated from CBA in 2021 after playing football and lacrosse there for 6 years. I started with LaChance Agency when I was 18 years old and got my Property and Casualty licensing just before my 20th birthday. Erik and the team took the time to teach me how to live and work by our mission statement of striving to serve and protect our community in ways no one else does. Although I am the youngest member of the team, I understand the inner workings of Insurance and will always go above and beyond to protect you and your family.
